Principal Recruitment Consultant - Compliance – Retail & Private Banking - London, City - Up to £45000basic + commission + benefits

My client is a global recruitment company who specialise in recruiting lawyers, paralegals, General Counsel and Compliance professionals.  Established over 25 years’ they are widely recognised as the market leader in legal and compliance recruitment.  They have strong relationships with all the top law firms from Magic and Silver Circle to the top 100 practices as well as top FTSE 100 and 250 businesses in Banking & Finance and Commerce & Industry.

The Compliance recruitment team recruits risk and compliance professionals into all areas of Legal and Financial Services.  The FS team work with investment and retail banks, asset managers, private banks, spread-betting firms, regulators, mortgage and insurance companies to hire experienced compliance professionals.  They have success placing into control room, equities, AML, fixed income, compliance monitoring, training and education and regulatory policy roles.

My client is looking to hire an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their Compliance division.  Working alongside a team of 4, you will be recruiting at salary levels from £50k - £250k into a hot desk with clients in the Retail and Private Banking sector.  The client base is well established with strong existing relationships in place and generated over £300k in revenue in 2014.  Headhunting and building relationships with key accounts is a prerequisite for this role.

The successful candidate will be a Recruitment Consultant with experience recruiting into the Financial Services space.  Compliance experience is not necessary as this can be learned.  You will however need to be a strong networker, with a consultative approach, a willingness to immerse yourself in the market and the ability to build strong relationships.  You will be professional with excellent communication skills, a high level of impact and the ability to act quickly and decisively.
