Permanent Talent Consultant - Central London - Competitive Salary + Commission + Benefits

My client is a brand new employment agency specialising in the recruitment of the very best Professional Assistants in London. They’ll be placing PA’s, EA’s and Administrative Professionals across all sectors, from Finance, Law and Medicine to Technology, Media and Private Households.

My client is seeking an ambitious, driven Recruitment Consultant to join their new Permanent team recruiting for the Secretarial market in London. An extraordinary opportunity to gain a foot in the door at ground level for a highly ambitious new agency with highly ambitious expansion plans.

Role Overview:

• To report to and work alongside the Head of London Talent in working to establish a successful new permanent secretarial recruitment desk

Key responsibilities:

• Developing an expert knowledge of the London secretarial market including key clients. Continuously building and developing market awareness
• Candidate generation and relationship building - sourcing the best candidates available on behalf of your clients through a variety of methods while consistently thinking of new and innovative ways to reach the market
• Interviewing candidates over the telephone and face to face to assess suitability for vacancies
• Acting as a genuinely consultative presence to candidates, advising them and acting in their best interests at all times, not simply in pursuit of the deal
• Building and cultivating new and existing client relationships through effective networking and communication
• Managing client relationships ensuring continuity of business and client expectations are consistently exceeded through delivery of an exceptional excellent recruitment service
• Managing the full recruitment and offer process on behalf of your clients and candidates, ensuring wherever possible a seamless and efficient service
• Taking accountability for your recruitment pipeline ensuring you achieve consistent billings and meet your targets
• Eventually, when applicable, mentoring and/or managing junior staff such as Researchers to cover a wider candidate pool
• Attending networking events and representing the company in a positive and professional manner, building credibility and reinforcing a strong, positive brand reputation

Person Specification:

• Demonstrable knowledge of the London secretarial recruitment market
• The ability to be able to demonstrate success in placing permanent administrative professionals
• Proven experience of working to, and achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
• A genuine passion to succeed and willingness to ‘go the extra mile’
• A desire to be given the respect to manage your own workload and time and respond by exceeding expectations
• Experience of juggling a diverse and demanding workload
