Do you want to inherit a desk that has billed £200k plus for the past three years?
My client is a privately owned specialist built environment white-collar recruitment business that has recently celebrated it’s 10th birthday and has grown to a £15 million turnover business employing over 30 staff. They are experts in mid to senior level recruitment across construction and property with teams focused in Architecture & Design, Construction, Residential, Fit-Out, Building Services Contracting & Consultancy, Civil & Structural Engineering and Professional & Consultancy. They are passionate about the built environment and have built up a great reputation with major clients in all their sectors. They are a Contingency and Executive Search consultancy with a demonstrable track record who do things slightly differently to their competitors by encouraging their consultants to work closely with clients to ensure great relationships and to attend networking events and become part of their industry.
Due to expansion of the business a founding director is looking to handover his desk within the M&E Building Services Design market so he can focus on the company as a whole rather than running a successful desk. With over 15 years exposure to this sector this is a seriously HOT desk that has billed over £200k for the past three years and has previously billed up to £300k in Permanent fee’s. The Director will hand over from day one all relationships and will obviously spend a period of time supporting the new consultant and helping them to establish their own relationships with these loyal clients. This opportunity is available purely due to the need for the business to expand further and is a key element of the agencies success.
The ideal candidate MUST have a proven track record in recruiting in the M&E Building Services Design market working with leading consultancies. My client is open to relocating an individual who is interested in working in London or to anyone that has London market experience within the sector. The ideal candidate will ideally have a permanent recruitment background and have a strong technical knowledge of the M&E Building Services Design roles at a mid to senior level. The successful applicant will inherit this HOT desk and work closely with the director who is an industry expert and will earn commission on the desk from day one. The commission structure is very strong so we conservatively estimate that the right candidate can maintain the billings of the desk and will earn in excess of £80k in their first year.
