Recruitment Manager - Head Office - City of London - £40,000 + Commission

My client can offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Manager to join their highly established and reputable Head Office team. Working closely alongside the HO Associate Director you would support, develop, and assist with the mentoring of the team to deliver outstanding results whilst maintaining a strong focus on client and candidate care.

 Overall responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the team meets KPI’s through active resourcing, candidate management and business development activity as well as developing further existing client relationships to ensure a high level of professional service throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Understanding the market to determine skill shortages, demand areas and up and coming brands for business development
  • Meeting with clients to review and take job opportunities (either individually or with your team) as well as to review service levels and ensure strong working relationships are maintained and opportunities to cross sell our business offerings are maximised
  • Actively marketing new opportunities and candidates as well as managing engagement with both clients and candidates through innovative marketing activities
  • Offering support and guidance to your team to enhance brand and technical knowledge and therefore support targeted candidate marketing campaigns
  • Out-lining to your team the business strategy and ensuring they adhere to this in their daily duties
  • Assisting with daily, weekly and monthly team meetings to keep the team focused and any areas for improvement are identified and followed through
  • Ensuring candidate and client care is maintained to ensure exceptional service at all times
  • Assisting with the development and training of the team alongside the Associate Director
  • Managing and reviewing compliance for your team to ensure best practice procedures are being followed

Key experience required:

  • Previous experience as a recruiting manager working within Retail Recruitment ideally having run a desk in either of the following areas:
    • Design, Technical and Production (Retail Fashion & Beauty)
    • Buying and Merchandising (Fashion and Beauty)
    • Sales & Marketing (Fashion and Beauty)
    • Strong knowledge of fashion and beauty brands
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
    • Strong organisation and time management skills
    • Confident in targeting new business opportunities
    • Hands-on and keen to manage clients and opportunities alongside your team
    • Excellent relationship management skills
    • Previous experience working as a Manager or Team Leader is essential
    • A team player who enjoys motivating and working to support others to achieve their goals and potential
