My client is a small but established recruitment agency within the built environment that focuses on the Design and Build, Residential, Fit-out and Construction sectors and has been in operation for over 20 years. They have an excellent reputation in the market and are looking to grow the business. They have an experienced team and to facilitate growth the owner is looking to handover his construction desk. He is relinquishing over 20 years of contacts in order to focus on the growth of the business. The company currently has 10 staff and is looking to double in size in 2016. It is a grown up adult recruitment environment with a flat structure and no real KPI’s or strict management so is only suitable for self motivated individuals. They turnover around 36million per year currently and have a loyal and long standing client base across all divisions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years exposure to the white-collar market and a proven track record in high billings. Previous management experience would be beneficial but is not essential as currently it is only managing one consultant who is relatively junior but you must be motivated by growing a team and division as well as billing. The role is suited to a mature and motivated recruiter who is confident they can build a division but not necessarily through their own contacts but by developing existing business.
